The name le "Fief" (Feud), was born at the time when the international language was French. These lands and possessions had been the fulcrum of the Visconti family since the year 1000, even before it rose to the Signoria, 1277 and then to the Duchy of Milan. The marquis Alberto Visconti d'Aragona (1811-1895), the last of the lineage, renewed the ancient tradition of hospitality that has evolved and, in our times, assumes a new concept of hospitality, which makes attention to detail and refinement of details the main elements of strength.

Our philosophy

The Le Fief Restaurant, opened in 2010, at the behest of Cassiano Dal Pozzo d'Annone, has become a corner of serenity and relaxation, where you can rediscover your spontaneity and that lightness that escapes us in everyday life. A place to reconcile and find yourself, surrounded by the attentions of our staff, caring and kind, never intrusive, who will take care of you, pampering you and surprising you with creativity, through a culinary experience that will frame your happiest moments.

Our Chef

Enrico Bazzanella since March 2015, he is the Executive Chef at the Le Fief Restaurant and Castello Dal Pozzo. Born in Cantù (Como) in 1980 he completed his training at the "Professional Institute of Chiavenna" in Sondrio. He started his career in Madesimo and in 2005 he moved to "Hotel Villa D'Este" where he met the Executive Chef Luciano Parolari who took Enrico under his wings. Eight years later, during which Enrico worked in all areas of the kitchen. In 2014 he joined Castello Dal Pozzo as Sous Chef, and a year later, considering his high qualities, he was promoted as Executive Chef.

American Bar

What better way to end a day than with a drink? The American Bar, located in the heart of the Palazzo, is the custodian of wisdom and excellent labels. Our Barman is at your complete disposal to satisfy every desire dictated by the moment. The bar overlooking the terrace of the Palace offers in the summer the opportunity to taste our specialties in the open air and to enjoy the last hours of the day in a magical setting.
